As International Training Director for Siemens AG, in Munich (91-96), I had the possibility of developing training activities in all 5 continents, for all major cultures, in a highly multicultural and international environment. My most recent corporate position was as Training Director for CANTV (97-01), the full service Venezuelan telecom carrier that until a few years ago was a Verizon subsidiary. In this position I directed the Company’s Corporate University, a very well known high tech training center (in the telecom industry) that services not only CANTV and its subsidiaries, but also most Spanish speaking countries in our continent .
I have been teaching at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas since I was a Psychology Student in 1968, even though this effort has been interrupted several times due to my main job as HR Manager, and my trips to study and work in other countries.
”Programmed Instruction”, “Distant Learning”, CBT and now WBT, have been part of my background in adult education. I taught on line for the Universidad de Yacambu in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, as part of an interesting approach at post graduate levels, which started in 1995.
I enjoy transferring professional experience in different fields of applied knowledge, through the educational uses of Internet, both at adult education programs, as at Graduate and Post Graduate levels.
I taught as a full time Professor for DeVry University at the Miramar Campus since its opening in 2002 until September 2014.
